Why I Paint

Painting outdoors means painting life itself.

My subjects are landscapes and portraits, always observed directly. I paint exclusively with traditional oil materials, working alla prima — completing each canvas in one session. This approach preserves spontaneity: the brushstrokes are immediate, the colors fresh, the impression unrepeatable. When the light fades or the moment passes, the painting is finished — a unique memory preserved on canvas.
